FIELD: firearm, applicable for firing with cartridges of smaller caliber. SUBSTANCE: the subcaliber barrel has a tubular body with centering members, cartridge chamber, breechblock and a striker. The breech end of the body is enveloped by a bushing consisting of two parts. The tapered surfaces of one part and of the split bushing form a collet device providing for a hard fixing of the subcaliber barrel in the breech end. One bushing is moved by means of a bolt, and the other is rigidly connected to the tubular body. The pusher of the subcaliber barrel is linked with the extractor of the main barrel, fastened on the pusher are the breechblock and the firing pin, having a catch and a striker.
