FIELD: firearms to fire both live and dummy ammunition. SUBSTANCE: firearm has carrier, barrel, trigger mechanism, firing mechanism, cartridge-feeding mechanism, reloading mechanism. Live cartridge with case and live bullet is moved into cartridge chamber to fire live ammunition. Separable inserted barrel with members to lock it in standard barrel which can be made in the form of supporting collars side of breech part of inserted barrel interacting with thrust protrusion of cartridge chamber and bearing nut put on inserted barrel from muzzle part is installed. Supporting collar can be made on muzzle part of inserted barrel interacting with muzzle face of standard barrel and coupling nut put on standard barrel. Breech part of bore of inserted barrel has geometrical closing with cartridge chamber of standard barrel has to accommodate dummy cartridge. Diametrical dimensions of which case coincide with dimensions of live cartridge. Easily deformed dummy bullet has caliber D_a.b. Diameter of bore of inserted barrel is equal to (0.6-0.8)D_a.b.
