FIELD: fire from smoothbore weapons by cartridges of smaller calibers. SUBSTANCE: subcaliber barrel carries a bush with a supporting cone and step, and an insert which accommodates a bush step and a spring pushing against it. At placement of the subcaliber barrel in the main barrel the bush supporting cone is confined by the adapter cone of the main barrel. When the weapon is closed the insert moves in the direction of the muzzle end coming out from the end of the main barrel. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
