FIELD: utilization of wastes containing organic compounds; public services for thermal destruction of domestic wastes, wastes of medical institutions inclusive. SUBSTANCE: incinerator has housing, loading hatch with cover, ash unloading hatch and smoke stack connected with atmosphere. Waste decomposition chamber located inside housing of incinerator is brought in communication in its lower portion with afterburning chamber used for burning gaseous decomposition products. Afterburning chamber is provided with high-temperature heat source in such way that high- temperature zone lies at boundary of decomposition chamber and afterburning chamber overlapping entire area of flow section of gaseous decomposition products. Fuel injector or gas burner may be used as high- temperature heat source. Waste decomposition chamber is provided with gas duct for evacuation of gaseous decomposition products from its upper portion to afterburning chamber. Bottom and walls of decomposition chamber are used as walls of afterburning chamber. EFFECT: enhanced ecological safety. 3 cl, 1 dwg
