FIELD: molecular biology, genetic engineering of plants. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of transformation and regeneration of plants from family Leguminosae, genus Cyamopsis, in part, to guahr transformation (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba). Method involves incorporation of recombinant DNA sequence into at least a single cell or protoplast that results to preparing genetically modified explants. Selective and nutrient media are used for selection of modified cells and seedlings growing. Use of medium including at least one compound taken among auxin, β-lactamase inhibitor and ethylene production inhibitor ensures to decrease callus growth in explant.
