FIELD: wind-power engineering; wind-to-electrical energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: plant has horizontal supporting surface that carries shaft mounted for rotation, two vertical supporting frames that mount blades turning about vertical pins to form sail-like working planes, wind vane, and generator. Novelty is introduction of parallelogram-type mechanism made in the form of front transversal link fixed at center to shaft, rear transversal link equal and parallel to the former, side longitudinal links that hinge ends of transversal links together; longitudinal links mount vertical and perpendicular supporting frames, respectively; mentioned mechanism is also provided with intermediate longitudinal link parallel to side links, its front and intermediate points being hinged to shaft and to center of rear transversal link, respectively; wind vane, as well as revolution converting mechanism, flywheel, and generator coupled in series with shaft are mounted at end in parallel to longitudinal links; revolution converting mechanism attached at bottom to supporting surface and accommodated in closed casing has input gear coupled with shaft through its pin, first and second driven gears, first and second ratchet sleeves coupled with the latter through their input pins, respectively, first and second drive gears fitted, respectively, on their output pins, and output gear coupled with them by internal and external mesh, respectively.
