FIELD: drilling and oil producing equipment; reconditioning of oil-well sucker-rod pumps. SUBSTANCE: repair of oil-well sucker-rod pump used in production of oil comes to be the following: disconnection of pump units, taking out of plunger, installation of new plunger and re-assembling of pump. Upper part of cylinder which is usually badly worn out should be cut off. Thread is cut on remaining part of cylinder. Length of said part is chosen basing on condition that it will be used in pumping units with length of stroke starting from 0.6 m. Plunger of shorter length provided with seal is used as a new plunger. Seal is formed by self-aligning eccentric plates fitted on variable-diameter rubber bushing. EFFECT: improved manufacturability, increased service life of oil-well sucker-rod pumps with solid bushing-free cylinder. 2 dwg
