FIELD: process of extraction of explosive from ammunition bodies. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in opening of the body and hydraulic cutting of the explosive by formation of an axial duct and screw groove running to the surface of the ammunition chamber with formation of a screw body of explosive with a thickness of turns sufficient for destruction under the action of the jet hydrodynamic pressure. In the other modification an axial duct and multiple-thread screw grooves are formed. Formation of intersecting l. h. and r.h. screw grooves is preferable. The screw grooves may be skewed with angles of flute helix to their axis equal to α=(20 to 70) deg, and the sum of the flute helix angles to the axis equal to 90 deg. The thickness of the turns of the screw body of explosive equals Δ=2 to 10 mm. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex
