FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has plate with projections for attaching scale to external side and boss with dead-end cylindrical hole on the internal side of the plate which depth is equal to difference between shoe upright height and scale attachment boss height. Pins are on the bottom of the cylindrical hole matched with openings in the plastic shoe uprights for orienting measuring system of the device in the appropriate direction. It has movable unit with a permanent magnet and an arrow fixed on an axle and unmovable unit having plastic shoe with uprights and measuring coils wound around it, magnetic screen and electric circuit members.
