SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing protein hydrolyzate used for suppressing regulation of allergic response reactions, prophylaxis and treatment of allergic patients. Method of preparing protein hydrolyzate involves hydrolysis of proteins with enzymes isolated from bacterial preparations containing probiotic bacteria of gastro- -enteric tract that have adhesion and colonizing indices and protease enzyme system. The latter are similar with that from the strain Lactobacillus GG (ATCC 53103) and to pepsin and/or trypsin. Method relates to also preparing protein hydrolyzate involving hydrolysis of proteins with pepsin and/or trypsin and addition to hydrolyzate the bacterial preparation containing probiotic bacteria of gastroenteric tract exhibiting the above indicated indices of the strain Lactobacillus GG (ATCC 53103) and to also the method of prophylaxis and treatment of breast- -feeding baby with allergic responses induced by food, treatment of patient with allergy to cow milk, stimulation inducing immunological tolerance of immune responses using protein hydrolyzate prepared.
