FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: stand has rotary platform mounted on supporting roller bearing, ladle supporting fork hangers made in the form of pivotal parallelogram four link chains and lifting mechanisms. Each lifting mechanism is connected to rotary platform and ladle forks through pivot joints. Lower pivot joint is mounted on rotary platform axially of supporting bearing roller barrel and upper pivot joint is arranged on ladle supporting fork bottom. Such arrangement of lifting mechanism allows action of flexure moment upon rotary platform construction to be prevented by load redistribution in rotary unit construction. Rotary unit main section is substantially reduced. EFFECT: increased efficiency in continuous steel casting and simplified construction. 2 dwg
