SUBSTANCE: measurement cell of SHF hygrometer has cavity resonator, temperature-sensitive element, cooling unit, feeding and receiving waveguides, mirror of dielectric material with high heat conduction and low coefficient of absorption in SHF range located in base of cavity resonator. Temperature-sensitive element is positioned on condensation surface of mirror. Cavity resonator is placed on surface of thermoelectric cooling unit. Thickness of dielectric mirror is chosen from condition of location of its condensation surface in region of maximum electric field of cavity resonator.
