CENTRIFUGAL MIXER FOR POWDERED MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2174436 C1

FIELD: processes for mixing powdered and pelletized materials. SUBSTANCE: mixer includes housing, rotor mounted on vertical shaft in housing and being in the form of concentric truncated cones having working surfaces and base. Height of cones and inclination angle of their generatrix relative to base increase from central portion of rotor to its periphery. Truncated cones are made of materials with friction factors lowered so far as said cones are spaced away from central portion of rotor. EFFECT: enhanced quality of mixing due to increased time period of contact of ingredients with working surfaces of mixer. 3 cl, 3 dwg
