FIELD: mass- transfer and heat-exchange processes, mixing gases and liquids. SUBSTANCE: packing has first and second filament elements made from wire. For example; they are placed in crossing position and are welded together at points of intersection, thus forming screen which is stamped for forming wavy screen. Wavy screen of first layer and wavy screen of second layer are placed on each other so that points of intersection of wavy screen of first layer get in contact with points of intersection of second layer and are separated from them in turn. Points of intersection which are in contact are welded together. Then, wavy screens of third to "n" layer are processed similarly for forming three-dimensional screen structure.
