FIELD: lighter-than-air flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: airship has main chamber of constant volume filled with carrier gas and additional chamber of varying volume which is communicated with first chamber; upper portion of this chamber is connected with lower portion of main chamber; airship includes also device for changing volume of additional chamber and consequently pressure in both chambers and gondola with unit for horizontal motion of airship which is made in form of ring where lower portion of additional chamber is located. Device for change of volume of additional chamber consists of winches mounted in gondola of winch. The main chamber is made in hemisphere form. EFFECT: enhanced load-carrying capacity. 3 cl, 1 dwg
