FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention consists in simplification of technology of manufacture of medical contact lenses capable of absorption and retaining of increased concentrations of antibiotics. This is achieved as contact lenses prior to saturation with antibiotic are subjected to treatment with diluted aqueous solution of base in the course of 0.5-6.0 h at temperature of 75-95 C and subsequent washing with distilled water in the course of 24.0 h. Later saturation is conducted with use of aqueous solutions of antibiotic at temperature 15-25 C in the course of 20-40 min. EFFECT: simplified manufacturing technology. 1 cl 4 tbl
