FIELD: recording and playback devices with optic disks. SUBSTANCE: breadboard data for time of processing or for initial time such as time of run of benchmark problem are recorded on optical disk subject to recording of data in units of single ECC block formed by 16 sectors. Then breadboard data are played back to determine sector with primary defect, address of sector having primary defect is recorded on optic disk, data are recorded in units of ECC block as data are run through sector with primary defect. Then data recorded during recording time of data different from initial time are recorded on optic disk on which data in units of single ECC block should be recorded. Later data are played back to determine ECC block having sector with secondary defect and data of ECC block which is determined as one having sector with secondary defect are recorded into ECC block that is prepared separately. Again breadboard data are recorded during time of processing or during such initial time as time of run of benchmark problem on optic disk on which data in units of single ECC block should be recorded. Then breadboard data are played back to determine sector with primary defect, address of sector which has being determined as one with primary defect are recorded on optic disk. Data are recorded in units of single ECC block at same time as data are run through sector with primary defect. Data are recorded for time of recording of data different from initial time. Data are played back to determine ECC block having sector with secondary defect and data of ECC block which is determined as one having sector with secondary defect are recorded in ECC block which is prepared separately.
