FIELD: video information processing. SUBSTANCE: device provides compression and storage of digital video data from sequence of continuous object images according to new compression method for run length. According to compression method, run information for one compression unit includes information about run length, including continuous data unit number for identical image elements, and number of next image elements, and data about image elements with two-bit configuration for distinguishing three and more colors in image elements.
