FACING HEATING TILE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2175046 C2

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: tile is used for facing external walls of re-built heated buildings and selecting for existing housing in climatic zones where wall are subject to moistening in autumn and in spring. Tile has body and external glaze layer, recess on inner side of tile bordered by curb of entire tile height meant for joining to wall. Depth of recess is 4-6 mm over entire area. Top and bottom parts of tile have parallel slants at 30-60 deg. for overlapping them in the course of assembling with forming protective peak; bottom slant has depression for local drain slit. Top slant has rectangular depressions ridges over curb width made on tile sides; lower extremities of curb have elongated ends projecting beyond slant through length equal to height of top depressions ridges. Depression on bottom slant is 1±0.5 mm in depth. EFFECT: provision for creating protection from moistening and steam discharge into atmosphere. 3 cl, 8 dwg
