FIELD: mechanical engineering; injection systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel injection device has electromagnetic valve to control fuel delivery and provided with valve element operated by armature of electromagnet of electromagnetic valve engaging with magnetic circuit of electromagnet coil consisting of magnetic core, outer shell and washer and locking, at least in one of its positions, a damping chamber in electromagnet. Damping chamber communicates constantly through damping restrictor with release space. Armature is made cylindrical and is constantly pulled into damping chamber formed in hole of magnetic core of electromagnet. EFFECT: provision of damping over entire length of valve element travel, both at its change over to shutoff and open positions. 6 cl, 1 dwg
