FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: individual fuel injection pump has at least one plunger 17 set into operation and executing reciprocating motion, rotating camshaft 11 to provided communication of pump working space 18 and nozzle through distributing hole 19 during rotation of shaft, working space being limited by plunger 17. It has also change-over valve 25 for metering out amount of injected fuel. To provide high stability hydraulic action at opening and closing of change-over valve 25, low-pressure plunger 43 is connected with change over member 35. Low pressure plunger is located in section 26 of wall and is installed for axial displacement behind the outlet of discharge hole 27. It is recommended that outer diameter of low pressure plunger 43 be close to diameter of seating surface of valve member 35 on valve mated seat 34. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 1 dwg
