FIELD: manufacture of compressors. SUBSTANCE: movable and immovable working members are thrown into engagement; movable member performs orbital motion relative to immovable one at some eccentricity. Contour of section of working members is made in form of embraced convex curve, for example, elliptical, involute, hyperbolic, parabolic and round engageable with embracing concave curve. Outer curve of working member contour is located at distance from inner curve equal to thickness of wall of contour; it consists of convex and concave curves engageable with each other. Method of manufacture of working members from components includes manufacture of profiled parts and base, mating grooves in base corresponding to profiled parts and connection of them with one another. Profiled parts are made in form of embracing hollow cylinder open on either side and embraced cylinder which are manufactured by means of turning, for example. Base is provided with mating grooves which are also made by turning and are used for receiving the profiled; parts are interconnected by soldering, fitting or with the aid of fasteners, pin for example. Rectangular cut made in embracing hollow cylinder is used for motion of second working member.
