FIELD: manufacture of compressors; spiral machines of "dry" compression.
SUBSTANCE: proposed spiral machine has housing with the following components arranged inside it: immovable spiral member engageable with movable spiral member mounted on eccentric shaft for performing orbital motion at eccentricity relative to immovable spiral member and forming closed compression cavities and anti-turn unit provided with at least one carrier received by hole of movable spiral member. Movable spiral member has no base to exclude action of axial force at compression of gas. Immovable spiral member has through holes. Holes in housing coincide with through holes of immovable spiral member forming through passages for flow of cooling air.
EFFECT: simplified construction; enhanced efficiency of cooling; enhanced reliability and durability; improved energy characteristics of spiral machine.
