FIELD: direct-action temperature controllers. SUBSTANCE: temperature controller has case with inlet and outlet passages, thermal bulb communicating with power cylinder mounted in case post, spring-loaded piston with rod moving inside this cylinder and joined with shut-off element, and adjusting mechanism. Novelty is mechanical design of adjusting mechanism which is made in the form of threaded bushing engageable with case post and stopped by power cylinder which is free to move longitudinally relative to case post. Power cylinder is flanged to temperature controller case so that it can be easily removed. Shock-absorbing member is built in power- cylinder between piston and rod. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced space requirement, enlarged functional capabilities, enhanced reliability and precision of adjustment, facilitated repair and maintenance. 3 cl, 1 dwg
