FIELD: thermometry, namely direct-action regulators for automatically sustaining temperature, mainly of water in different designation systems.
SUBSTANCE: temperature regulator including housing having supplying and discharging branch pipes, valve and seat, and also thermal system having thermal bottle with temperature sensitive liquid arranged outside housing in controlled medium and communicated through capillary with power cylinder. Free end of rod of said power cylinder is arranged in cavity of housing. Said valve is in the form of plate mounted in housing in such a way that in closed position of valve it does not engage with rod and when temperature of controlled medium lowers said plate may rotate while being engaged with free end of moving rod. Preferably free end of rod is tapered to side of rotary plate.
EFFECT: improved operational reliability of temperature regulator, enhanced response and accuracy at sustaining predetermined temperature value.
