FIELD: mills. SUBSTANCE: according to method, raw damp material is fed to crushing table, part of crushed material is transported to air separator by upward current of hot, gas, and dried. Preliminary drying of material is carried out in zone of inlet of fresh material. Mixing of waste getting from air separator with fresh material and supply of hot gas are carried out continuously from outer side of housing. Hot gas is supplied at regulated pressure to provide practically zero pressure in zone of end of fresh material inlet. Then mix of fresh raw material and waste from separator is fed to crushing table. Vertical roller mill has housing with rotary crushing table and crushing rollers, fresh material feeder made as device for preliminary drying in zone before crushing table. Second pipeline for hot gas is connected to device for feeding fresh material in zone of end of fresh material inlet, and pipeline for transportation of waste is connected from other side.
