FIELD: marking devices, possibly in machine engineering for marking flat parts of thin-sheet material. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing, power pneumatic cylinder, step motion mechanism and marking head with stamps. Fixing lever and base are jointly secured to housing with possibility of engagement one with another for fixing base. The last has turning for supporting power levers joined by means of pin arranged in openings of power levers and springs with base. In small arms of power levers inserts are rotatably mounted; large arms may engage with cam of step motion mechanism having lever joined with rod of power cylinder and shaft having cam and spring lock. Apparatus prevents motion of part relative to marking stamps at operation and provides uniform fitting of stamp surface to marked part. EFFECT: enhanced quality of marked symbols. 3 dwg
