FIELD: construction of water- development works; construction of continental shelf; ice breakers. SUBSTANCE: device has bearing member rigidly secured to water- development works by its lower portion and ice breaking part made in form of flexible working member articulated with bearing member on one side and detachably connected with tensioner on other side and laid on convex upper portion of bearing member. Tensioner is made in form of hydraulic cylinder whose extensible piston is provided with hook and is located for engagement with T-shaped end member fitted on end of flexible working member. Cavity of hydraulic cylinder of tensioner is connected with outlet of hydraulic accumulator found on water-development works. Flexible working member return mechanism is made in form of circular flexible rod on which carriage is secured; carriage is provided with winch connected with hydraulic motor which is connected in its turn with hydraulic accumulator. Actuating telescopic hydraulic cylinder is located in body of water-development works. Its cavity is connected with hydraulic accumulator. Extensible rod is provided with bearing pivot which is engageable with floating ice. EFFECT: automation of action on ice surface; increased productivity; enhanced economical efficiency. 2 cl, 8 dwg
