FIELD: erection of structures predominantly on bumpy base with thick layer of silt. SUBSTANCE: in process of erection of water-development works relief of rock foundation for arrangement of bed is sounded through layer of silt over its edges. In this case large-diameter shell with height exceeding thickness of layer of silt functions as bed. Lower edge of shell is given shape corresponding to profile exposed by sounding. Then shell is lowered directly on rock foundation cutting through layer of silt. Guarding structure isolating space needed for formation of underwater part of structure from water area, for instance, by means of floating forms is set. on it. Silt is removed from space of shell and it is encased in concrete. Then underwater part of structure is formed in space of guarding structure by method of underwater concrete placing. EFFECT: decreased usage of material and labor input to formation of bed, enhanced efficiency of operation thanks to reduced negative man-induced effect on environment. 1 cl, 1 dwg
