SUBSTANCE: the vest has a fore-part and a back with protective shields made of ballistic cloth, armour plates, shock-absorbing supports, means for fastening and fitting to the figure, and an external coating of cloth. Besides, the vest is provided with an inguinal belt that is fastened to the fore-part and back. The vest collar is made with a post that is crease-resistant on the side of the back of the head, the shock-absorbing supports of the collar, fore-part and back are made of flexible material, at least 20 nm thick, that does not absorb water, and the volumes of the supports positioned in the vest chest part and back are taken in relation at least 4:1. The external coating of the fore-part and back is made in the form of covers, and the fasteners in the shoulder zone are made in the form of connecting bands with buckles attached to the protective shields of the fore-part and back. The covers of the fore-part and back have holes for bringing the bands outside, and holes for run-off of water are made is the lower part of the fore-part and back.
