SUBSTANCE: technical result of the claimed invention is achieved by using a method of making and assembling a modular plate carrier west (body armor), including a chest section, a back section, a waist section and a shoulder section, wherein the method includes the selection of materials, cutting, sewing and assembling the plate carrier west, characterized by that: a breast and back sections, consisting of modules of the frame of the chest and back, are made from tripled camouflage nylon and are stitched along the outer contour of the plate carrier west and on its area, at that: the plate carrier west includes at least modules of the frames: chest, back, cummerbund, along the perimeter of the chest and back modules, fastening elements are made, together with the chest and back modules, pockets for cases with ballistic plates; plate carrier west is made from tripled camouflage nylon; in the technology of cutting modules of chest, back and cummerbund frames, laser equipment is used, textile slings are cut using an ultrasonic machine; in the plate carrier west sewing technology, the breast, back and cummerbund frame modules are detached along the contour for fixation of layers, imparting density and prevention of tissue delamination, as well as detachment of the MOLLE-minus system.

EFFECT: method of making plate carrier west as an independent product, and with possibility of installation of splinterproof packages and armored plates.
