PNEUMATIC SYSTEM OF GRAIN-CLEANING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning of grain mixtures with air flow; applicable in processing grain in agricultural production, grain milling and elevator and combined fodder industries. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic system of grain-cleaning machine includes settling vessel of curved profile with diametric fan, air-supply duct with regulator of air flow rate, pneumoseparating duct with supply appliance, appliances for withdrawal of grain and light fraction. Withdrawal appliances are made in the form of two settling chambers separated by partition with turning-extension wall hinged to partition end. In addition, pneumatic system includes bypassing duct, guide plate and bent settler. Pneumatic system is also provided with paddle wheel installed in settling chamber in zone of its curved wall above point of joining of chamber with bypass duct. Settler and casing of discharge diffuser, adjacent to paddle wheel form inlet port, and pressure branch pipe communicating with fan suction part.
