WOOD-WORKING MILLING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: wood-working machines, applicable in building industry or wood-working industry for manufacture of profiled timber used in building of wooden dwelling houses, as well as of structures of other purpose. SUBSTANCE: the wood-working milling machine has a means for installation and attachment of a wooden blank in at least three points being distant from one another along the blank axis, unit trolley made for hand movement on guides, at least along the blank axis, installed on the mentioned unit trolley, at least one mill, means for driving each mill, and means for displacement of each mill, at least in the transverse direction relative to the blank axis. The means for driving each mill has n single-phase induction motors, or at least one three-phase induction motor interchangeable with at least one of the mentioned single-phase induction motors. At attachment of the blank with the aid of the mentioned means for installation and attachment it gets deformed to sweep α/2, where α - natural sweep of the blank. At least part of the blank-working is accomplished by successive milling of the opposite lateral sides of the blank. EFFECT: expanded field of machine application, reduced shaving at manufacture of profiled timber, enhanced capacity and reliability of the machine, reduced cost of it. 3 cl, 9 dwg
