FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: antitheft system identification and engine starting permit unit, and engine shaft position pickup including rotor of special shape or additional means to provide generation of signal at rotation of rotor in form of sequence of pulses changed relative to defining sequence of pulses. System includes also special unit for regeneration of pulses received from above-indicated position pickup in presence of corresponding permit signal from identification and engine starting permit unit. Under normal operating conditions regenerated pulses are directed to control unit for generating signals required for normal starting and operation of engine. In case of hijacking attempt and no permit signal from output of identification and engine starting permit unit, changed sequence of pulse from engine shaft position pickup is not restored, and engine is blocked. EFFECT: provision of reliable protection against unauthorized use or hijacking of provision of reliable protection against unauthorized use or hijacking of vehicle, simplified design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
