FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: liquid fuel is obtained by catalytic polymerization of synthesis gas prepared by conversion of methane. The latter process is carried out in plasma tube at 1175-1225 C and pressure 3-5 atm in presence of oxygen-containing gas, oxygen content constituting 150-200 wt.% of the methane content. Polymerization is carried out by consecutively passing synthesis gas over chromium-nickel catalyst and zeolite catalyst at 140-160 C and 65-78 atm. Product is processed to isolate mixture of saturated hydrocarbons. EFFECT: enlarged fuel resource. 4 cl, 2 ex
