FIELD: laser engineering; solid-state laser-beam amplifiers. SUBSTANCE: amplifier has three systems of parallel active media spaced apart through certain angle and also pairs of convex and concave mirrors whose optical axes are parallel to active media. Master oscillator radiation is conveyed by means of partially reflecting plate to amplifier along optical axes of mirror pairs. Radiation over active medium makes several passes , is amplified, and arrives at adaptive mirror through hole; adaptive mirror reflects this radiation precisely in reverse direction. Amplified radiation is passed through plate in the form of coherent beam. EFFECT: provision for almost equal thermal conditions for all active media of amplifier. 2 cl, 10 dwg
