FIELD: laser engineering; solid-state laser-beam amplifiers. SUBSTANCE: amplifier has two or more systems of active balanced media 1, 2, 3, convergence systems 5, 6, as well as master oscillators 7, 8, 9 and auxiliary semi-transparent mirrors 11, 12 and reflecting mirrors 13. Center lines of active media are relatively parallel and similarly arranged in each system; systems are inclined relative to each other. Active medium of at least two systems 1, 2 is made in the form of near-axis region in its sectional area with outgoing sectors whose geometric tops are on center line and external boundaries of sectors are confined within closed polygon whose center of symmetry is also on active medium center line. Master oscillator beams are separated by means of auxiliary semi-transparent mirrors and transmitted along optical axes of all active media by means of reflecting mirrors. Optical systems 15, 16 of active media phase out all beams and convergence systems function to converge all beams into single solid-section coherent beam with desired direction of focusing. EFFECT: improved axial strength of beam and brightness without using telescope. 6 dwg
