FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: fixed glasses, for instance, windshield glasses of vehicles, securing in support frame by homogeneous binding material are released by placing energy supply device near windshield glass and delivering energy through windshield glass from this device for separating the glass from frame. This is done by destruction of part of homogeneous binding material and/or breaking of windshield glass. Energy can be delivered in form of ultrasonic or laser radiation and concentrated on chosen section for increasing the releasing action.
