FIELD: transport engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for releasing glass panels, for instance, windshield glass panels connected to support frame. According to proposed method, light source is placed close to panel and light is passed through panel, thus separating panel from frame. Light can be delivered in form of pulses at preset rate and can be radiated by gaseous discharge lamp featuring quick spatial attenuation of intensity of radiation. Releasing of panel can be provided by thermal destruction of binding material, splitting of material in surface or in volume of panel and combustion of both proposed mechanisms.

EFFECT: provision of safety without overheating.
