FIELD: medicine, phthisiology, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: disinfecting agent used in tuberculosis has polyguanidine and water. Agent has hydrophobic polyguanidine as a polyguanidine source in the following ratio of components, wt. %: hydrophobic polyguanidine, 0.5-1; water, the balance. The following compounds are used as a source of hydrophobic polyguanidine: polyhexamethyleneguanidine or benzylpolyhexamethyleneguanidine, or octadecylpoly-(4,9-di-oxadodecaneguanidine), or copolymer of hexamethylene- and dodecamethyleneguanidines of the composition 7:3 or 8:2 or 9:1, or guanidinized and dodecylated copolymer of polyethyleneimine and polyhexamethyleneguanidine of the composition 4: 1, or isonicotinic acid hydrazide and polyhexamethylenetriamino- -guanidine.
