FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing separate accumulation of fire-extinguishing liquid in vessel and of working gas in high-pressure balloon and additionally in accumulating chamber; supplying working gas into breathing bag of face protective mask and simultaneously through pipeline, quick-action valve and nozzle system into liquid under atmospheric pressure in spraying chamber; dispersing liquid and throwing it through nozzle of fire-extinguishing mixture. Flow rate and volume of filling of spraying chamber are controlled by manual regulator. Apparatus has manual valve, balloon, breathing bag and water jet device including accumulating chamber with nozzle, control valve, regulating charging device, reducing device, quick action valve and nozzle system. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, simplified method and construction, efficient and safe fire extinguishing, reduced consumption of working gas and liquid. 3 cl, 1 dwg
