FIELD: fire-fighting means.

SUBSTANCE: knapsack fire extinguisher is designed for local fire extinguishing with using a freezing extinguishing fluid, as well as for local cold application in case of ground contamination with oil products, fire-hazardous, explosive, toxic and chemically aggressive substances for the purpose of decontamination. The fire extinguisher is formed by internal and external tanks with an in-between space filled by a thermal insulation, contains a freezing extinguishing fluid, a carry handle and belts, a heat insulation gasket from one of side faces, in-built manometre and level indicator connected with the internal tank via pulse tubes, a fitting pipe for filling the freezing extinguishing fluid with a safety valve cover placed at its top, an egg-shaped pipe with a fluid delivery gate mounted at its bottom of the body, an outlet flange, a flexible heat-insulated pipeline connecting it by means of threaded connections with an inlet flange of an atomiser comprising a spray mechanism with a locking piston and a serrated slide, a gear, a cam trigger, a Belleville spring, an limiter patch, integrated in the single body with the thermal insulation, handles, a fluid delivery bore with a threaded carving flange.

EFFECT: device enables fast and effective local seat of fire extinguishing.
