METHOD OF ELECTRON-BEAM TREATMENT OF LIQUID Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: device for electron-beam initiating of radiochemical transformations in immiscible liquid at thickness of layer along direction of propagation of electron beam exceeding thickness of layer of total absorption. SUBSTANCE: liquid together with gas dissolved in it raises towards electron beam whose width is equal to width of liquid flow. Flow of gas at dynamic pressure exceeding dynamic pressure of liquid is created in plane of outlet port of reaction chamber. Passage of liquid through reaction chamber is ensured due to excessive hydrostatic pressure. Liquid escaping through reaction chamber port is carried in form of aerosol from radiation area at rate of gaseous flow, thus ensuring successive accumulation of does by each element of liquid at each point of dose distribution inside layer of total absorption. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of treatment of any element of liquid at high degree of homogeneity. 1 dwg
