FIELD: processes and equipment for treating liquids by means of electron beams. SUBSTANCE: method is realized due to interaction of accelerated electrons with liquid containing gas phase and moving upwards from downwards along vertical duct opposite relative to electron beam. Reaction chamber includes horizontal duct those thickness is selected according to condition of predetermined degree of non-uniformity of liquid treatment, namely, B ≤ d/3, where d is thickness of complete absorption layer. Apparatus includes reaction chamber with vertical and horizontal ducts. Horizontal duct is widened from value B until d. Surface of horizontal duct turned to electron beam is made of material absorbing energy of electrons; its bottom is made of material reflecting electrons. B is thickness value of horizontal duct, d is thickness of complete absorption layer. EFFECT: enhanced quality of treatment of contaminated liquids. 5 dwg
