FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves subjecting material, for example ore, to grinding operations by grinding in layer or sheet of materials placed in grinding apparatus; adding water or other liquid during time interval between two subsequent grinding operations; drying materials and/or removing moisture from material. Apparatus has circular path conventionally divided into several path parts, or several circular paths, where succession of grinding operations are carried out, at one or several rollers movable over path or path parts with subsequent flexible pressing, device for transferring material from one path or path parts to other path or path part, device for introducing water or other liquid into materials during transfer from one path or path part to adjacent path or path part, and device for drying materials and/or removing moisture from paths before the moment they are passed under the following roller.
