CONSTRUCTION BLOCK FOR DECORATIVE BUILDING FACING Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: construction material industry. SUBSTANCE: construction block used for decorative facing of buildings and interior finishing of different surfaces is made in the form of polyhedron shaped as regular prism with square footing; rib length of mentioned prism equals doubled diagonal of footing. Two wedge-shaped grooves are made on side of one rib; each groove is formed by equal inclined edges mounted at right angle to each other and lying in planes passing through points of diagonals of each footing crossing mentioned rib. Two of mentioned edges form regular quadrangular pyramid in central part of block; footing of mentioned pyramid is located in longitudinal plane passing through two other diagonals of each footing; vertex of pyramid is located in center of mentioned rib of prism. Bevels which are at right angle converging at mentioned first diagonals of each footing are made on side of each footing; formative edges equal in size to mentioned inclined ones forming wedge-shaped grooves are made on side of each footing. At least one of block edges differs in color and/or texture from other edges. EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical characteristics of block. 5 dwg
