FIELD: contactless high-accuracy measurement and control of alternating and direct currents Jx, in designing of digital current transducers. SUBSTANCE: four windings are applied on a ferrite core: a primary winding with current under measurement, second winding - a compensating, multi-sectional, opposite-connected winding with discretely varied ampere-turns, third winding - a differential winding with high-frequency periodic linear or non-linear, for example, cosine current, and the fourth - a signal winding in which signal pulses are produced with the aid of which the sign and the quantity of the current under measurement in the binary notation by an algorithm developed in the transducer microprocessor controller are automatically determined. The device for realization of the method has the mentioned ferrite core with windings, amplifier - shaper of signal pulses, microprocessor controller, single - and multiple-digit keys, switch, cosine current generators and clock- pulse oscillators, "code-to-current" converter, decoder, RS - and T-flip- flops, registers and other components interconnected in a definite way. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement of electric currents, produced quantity that is convenient for storage, processing and transmission by up-to-date digital systems. 3 cl, 12 dwg
