FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: milking unit has milk receiver, milk pipeline connected with milk receiver and equipped with valves connected to milk units, washing pipeline connected to milk pipeline and to washing apparatus, dividing faucet mounted on milk pipeline between zone adjacent to milk pipeline and washing pipeline joint and milk receiver, and cleaning sponge catching device. The latter is made in the form of T-piece located at milk receiver inlet end and having axial opening serving as part of milk pipeline. Grid is positioned in T-piece axial opening. Side branch pipe is covered with closure and adapted for withdrawal of cleaning sponge from washing apparatus. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and improved cleaning of milk pipeline. 2 cl, 1 dwg
