GROUP MILK COUNTING SYSTEM FOR MILKING UNITS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: animal farming equipment. SUBSTANCE: milk counting system has supplying hoses connected to milk pipeline, to which milk is delivered from group of cows through cylindrical milk yield counters. Conical stabilizers are fixed on covers of milk yield counters in axially aligned relation with supplying hoses and casing, with apexes of stabilizers being oriented down toward milk flow. Discharge branch pipe is mounted in casing bottom near side wall thereof so that its upper edge is arranged in casing upper part. Calibrated slit-shaped opening is formed in upper part of discharge branch pipe and oriented toward stabilizer. Lower part of discharge branch pipe is connected through hoses to measuring vessels provided with measuring scales, with division coefficient being taken into account. Lower parts of measuring vessels are connected through pipeline to collecting vacuum pipes of milking unit. Upper parts of measuring vessels are equipped with valves for communicating measuring vessel inner cavities with atmospheric air. Measuring vessels are placed in reservoirs with transparent wall and are provided with cooling device. EFFECT: increased efficiency, provision for adaptation to any type of milking unit and increased precision of measurements. 2 cl, 1 dwg
