FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel systems of internal combustion engines with heating of fuel. Proposed diesel fuel heating system has fuel tank with heater, pressure pipeline and submersible electric heater of fuel installed in fuel intake strainer and connected to electric control device. Second main line electric heater is installed in fuel filter. Second main line electric heater is also connected to electronic control device provided with temperature pickup. Third tubular electric heater designed for heating cooling liquid is operated only at parking. Third electric heater is installed in branch pipe between engine and body interior heating radiator. This electric heater is furnished with electric pump and is connected to its own electronic control device. Third electric heater can be placed in small circuit of cooling system. EFFECT: improved efficiency of fuel heating owing to automatic control of heating process depending on temperature of fuel mass, improved performance characteristics of engine at low ambient temperatures. 3 cl, 1 dwg
